ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï has concluded its Vaccine Incentive Program (VIP). As of Dec. 8, 89% of enrolled students and 98% of active employees at Northeastern are vaccinated against COVID-19.

ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï has selected Biology major Kimberly Nu-Tall as its 2021 Lincoln Academy Student Laureate.

The U.S. Department of Education has awarded ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï a five-year, $5 million Hispanic-Serving Institutions - Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (HSI - STEM) and Articulation Program grant to increase the number of students who complete STEM majors and contribute to diversifying the STEM workforce.

As we pause to reflect on the past year, ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï has a lot to be thankful for. We’re proud to have students and employees learning and working safely on campus. We’re appreciative of all who have worked so hard throughout the COVID-19 pandemic to get us to this point. We’re thankful for an optimistic outlook for the next generation of NEIU scholars, especially with the expansion of the NEIU For You scholarship. NEIU For You launched in Spring 2021 and covered the cost of one year of tuition for first-year, full-time incoming freshmen. It is now expanding to support students financially through the first four years of a bachelor’s degree.

On Nov. 18, ÌìÌì³Ô¹Ï’s Board of Trustees approved the renewal and expansion of the NEIU For You scholarship!
