Internationally acclaimed Russian music ensemble will perform at 天天吃瓜 on Friday, Feb. 20.
Formed by Vladimir Volokhin, Valerie Petrukhin and Sergei Teleshev, Trio Voronezh produce inventively exciting sounds using Russian folk instruments鈥攄omra, bass balalaika and bayan. The trio will perform a diverse set of songs, which will incorporate genres such as Russian folk, classical, baroque, Argentine tango, and bluegrass.
Trio Voronezh performs at 7:30 p.m. in the University鈥檚 Recital Hall, 3701 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at or by calling (773) 442-4636.
