English research presenters
English major Katelyn Juerjens鈥 paper 鈥溾楢ACK!鈥 Gender, Beauty, and the Workplace in Cathy鈥 earned an honorable mention for Best Paper during the from March 27-30 in St. Louis. Joined by Assistant Professor of English Ryan Poll, 10 English students (top photo) presented their original research on a range of issues from Afrofuturism to comic studies and gender. In addition to Juerjens, the students who participated were Clifton Frei, Marlene Crystal Garcia, Isaias Rogel, Vanessa Macias, Jennifer Velazquez, Natalia Rokita, Billy Peters, Marwen Daher and Nicole Vale. - Reference Coordinator and Humanities Librarian Mary Thill published an article titled 鈥溾 in the journal College & Research Libraries.
- Library Technical Services Coordinator Joan Schuitema delivered a presentation titled 鈥溾 during a CARLI Technical Services Committee and Collection Management Committee daylong workshop. Education Librarian Michelle Oh also participated on the Managing Change in Collection Management panel.
- Digital Scholarship Librarian Alyssa Vincent moderated two meetings during the in Salt Lake City from March 26-30.
- Science Librarian Geoff Brown delivered a presentation titled 鈥溾 during the American Association of Geographers Annual Meeting on April 5 in Washington, D.C. The data come from the thesis research for his Northeastern master鈥檚 degree.

Coordinator of African American Recruitment joined Chief of Staff Mike Dizon for the latest Northeastern appearance on CAN TV to discuss student financial options.
