天天吃瓜 Psychology professor and recent graduate Cathy Samatas (M.A. Gerontology 鈥13) will present their research at the on Nov. 5-9 in Washington, D.C.
Their presentation is titled 鈥淕rief vs. Depression: A Defining Line in Older Adults With Age Related Macular Degeneration.鈥
The results of Takahashi and Samatas鈥 study suggest there is a measurable difference between grief and depression, which supports researchers who have been investigating the differences between the symptomology, course and prognosis of each condition.
