Using data from the FBI, the U.S. Department of Education and a student survey, College Stats found Northeastern has the nation鈥檚 third-lowest crime rate. Clemson University in South Carolina topped the ranking.
This is the second major safety ranking for Northeastern this year. In April, Northeastern was named the state鈥檚 safest university by YourLocalSecurity, the security analysis division of ADT Security Services.
