"Disruptors" author Kunal Mehta

Kunal Mehta, author of 鈥,鈥 will deliver the keynote speech titled 鈥淪ocial Entrepreneurship: Can we leverage our failures?鈥 in 天天吃瓜鈥檚 Second Annual series.

The event will begin at 4 p.m. April 18 on the in Alumni Hall South, 3701 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. It is free and open to the public. Free parking will be available to event guests on the fourth level of the Parking Facility.

Mehta was provided with a full scholarship by J.P. Morgan to attend the NYU Stern School of Business. He gained over four years of experience with the investment bank at the peak of the recession and worked within the banking industry for another two years after graduating. Mehta is currently working on Unfold, a mobile application for sharing and discovering powerful high-quality content, and also serves on the board of NYC Promise and Transfernation.

Mossadegh, who was the first freely elected prime minister of Iran in 1951, believed leaders to be servants of their community.

鈥淟ast year's event was well received by the Northeastern community and this year's event is more student-focused,鈥 said Professor of Finance , chair of the Advisory Board for Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh Servant Leadership Fund. 鈥淒r. Mossadegh鈥檚 fund promotes the idea of servant leadership among future business leaders.鈥

The lectureship is made possible through contributions to the Mohammad Mossadegh Servant Leaders Fund from friends and alumni across the world. The endowment perpetuates the spirit of servant leadership by providing annual lectureships and scholarships at Northeastern.

Also at the April 18 event, three students who received Mossadegh scholarships will be recognized.
