����Թ�’s location will host the beginning Feb. 11. The five-week festival will consist of five unique films from different Spanish-speaking countries.

Sponsored by the , the series features a diversity of themes.

“The films are all very recent, five from Latin America and one from Spain, and all speak to contemporary issues ranging from sexual and ethnic identity (“Bad Hair”), to transnational migration (“Here and There” and “Who is Dayani Cristal?”), adult education (“Illiterate”), and aging (“Wrinkles”) through thoughtful and oftentimes suspenseful dramas,” professor and department chair said.

The fest is free and open to the public. All screenings begin at 6:10 p.m. in Room 201 at El Centro, 3390 N. Avondale Ave. Here is the schedule of the film screenings:
